Me llamo Macarena, tengo 18 años y soy estudiante de la carrera de Comunicación. Me considero una persona observadora, miles de veces me encuentro siendo una turista más en la maravillosa Buenos Aires. No soy gran conocedora de cada rincón de la ciudad, ni siquiera de la Capital Federal, pero en mi vida diaria me gusta tomarme el tiempo de investigar, observar, y descubrir nuevos lugares y paisajes. Las redes sociales me han ayudado mucho, ya que aunque sea 10 minutos al día, investigo sobre nuevas actividades para realizar, o nuevas tiendas en las que comprar (como toda buena shoppaholic).
Me fascina la fotografía, aunque por falta de tiempo, sólo pude realizar un breve curso básico para, al menos, poder dejar de usar la cámara en modo automático. Además, soy bastante tímida, por lo que la idea de pasear con una cámara más grande que mi cara colgando del cuello, me asusta un poco. Así que por el momento, soy la típica chica que se frena de golpe mientras camina, saca su celular, y toma una foto. Habiendo dicho esto, me disculpo por la fotografía deficiente que acompañará los posts, espero mejorar con el tiempo, y animarme a salir con la cámara.
Además, soy una gran fan del inglés, por lo que verán la mayoría de los posts (si no todos) en ambos idiomas.
Por estas y muchas otras razones, decidí hacer este blog, espero que lo disfruten. Esto es solo una breve faceta de mí, que creí que deberían conocer en mi primer post.

My name is Macarena, i’m 18 years old and i’m a student in journalism. I consider myself to be an observant person, thousands of times I find myself being a tourist in the amazing Buenos Aires. It’s not that I know every spot in the city, not even Capital Federal, but in my daily life I like to take the time to search, observe, and find new places and landscapes. Social Networks have helped me in a great way, because even if I have 10 minutes free, I like to search for new activities or new shops (as a good shoppaholic).
I love photography, but i only took a brief and basic course, in order to stop using the camera in automatic mode, because i have no time at all. In addition, i’m quite shy, so the idea of going around with a camera bigger than my face hanging of my neck scares me a little bit. So, for the moment, i’m that basic girl that stops suddenly when walking, takes out her phone, and takes a picture. That being said, I apologise for the deficient pictures that I will post, I hope I can get better with time, and convince myself to take the camera out.
Also, I’m a big fan of this language, so you will find most of my posts (if not all) written both in English and Spanish.
For this and many other reasons, I decided to make this blog, and I hope you’ll like it. This is just a little piece of me, that I thought you had to know in my first post.
